The Director, Health Outcomes oversees and implements key aspects of evidence generation strategies for ViiV North America to include health economics, patient reported outcome measures (PROs), burden of illness studies, etc. to support ViiV assets, with a particular focus on the inline dolutegravir assets (Dovato, Triumeq and Tivicay). Additional responsibilities may include evidence generation for other pipeline assets as needed. The key responsibility of the Director, Health Outcomes will be to develop and execute the evidence generation strategy to support continued access requirements within the North American business for Dovato with some support as needed for other DTG-based assets such as Tivicay and Triumeq. This will include continued development of "real-world" studies to grow the body of evidence with respect to the effectiveness of these products in clinical practice settings in alignment with life-cycle management plans. This person will serve as the HO point of contact for the ViiV Government Relations (VGR) team to ensure that evidence generation needs to support policy and quality initiatives are incorporated into the USHO tactics and plans. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following: Work cross-functionally with Global Health Outcomes team, Medical Affairs, and brand teams to ensure integration of the health outcomes studies / data to support internal decision-making during life cycle management and supports evidence needs requirements to maintain/grow dolutegravir access for patients. Represent the USHO team for respective brands during ViiV business planning processes. Lead, influence, and ensure cross-functional support for planned activities. Influence cross-functional evidence generation plans and activities to ensure that payer insights are reflected throughout the product lifecycle. Design and execute analysis plans for applied outcomes studies using administrative claims and other health outcomes data sources including Medicaid and Medicare claims data. Provide research support as needed (e.g. protocol writing, analysis planning, data analytic support, data reporting) for collaborative research studies with external customers that are strategically aligned to North American Medical Affairs and Market Access team objectives. Ensure quality of deliverables for sponsored research projects including protocol development and approval, data analysis plans, and final study documentation in accordance with ViiV policies and procedures. Internal dissemination of key study/project findings to key stakeholders; provide training as needed to field-facing colleagues for appropriate leveraging with external customers Ensure external scientific data dissemination for projects including: abstracts, posters, and manuscripts in accordance with brand data dissemination plans. Design, track and adjust HO projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget parameters. Provide in-house analytic services to HO, NAMÅ and other stakeholders in order to fulfill unsolicited customer data requests needed using in-house database resources. Serve as HO point of contact to the VGR team to asses evidence needs and ensure that real world evidence is generated end leveraged where appropriate to support their strategic objectives. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: MPH, MS, or MSPH with 5 plus years of health outcomes experience in a pharma or managed care setting.
