YOUR ROLE
- Principle Accountabilities of cost of Goods Program
- Drive & Execute implementation of cost reduction projects and initiatives for AEI SBU
- Coordinate and support alternative supplier development 2. Packaging Management
- EU Regional packaging project management and execution (Own production & 3PM). Including MFO projects.
- Facilitate and support product launches by proper packaging selection and development
- Continuously reduce packaging complexity
- Qualification of alternative sources for packaging articles. Both Proactive & reactive cases (e.g. - Force majeure)
- Coordinate site qualification management (e.g. line trials etc.) and quality optimization projects with regional / local suppliers (Processes, Tools and Master Data)
- Supports reduction in time-to-market of products (T2M)
- Supports improvement of Packaging Masterdata accuracy 5. Sustainability
- Support & Execute Packaging Sustainability projects in EU region
- Reduce material usage, enable re-use / recycling
- Packaging Innovation
- Support & Execute Packaging Innovation projects in EU region.
- Ensure legal compliance for all packaging materials in use, specifically for dangerous goods
- Consider safety and sustainability for all packaging development and engineering activities
- Implement new safety regulations
- Partner with other functions and departments as well as suppliers to enable improvement
- Educational Background: Materials and Industrial Engineering
- Highly Motivated and Curious personality
- Good Communication skills
- Proficient English Speaker
- Knowledge or experience of packaging materials/technologies is valuable
- Hands-on and proactive attitude
