YOUR ROLE
  • Drive key aspects of data-driven business models and the analytics strategy along the value chain and across different business units
  • You feel at home in the area of data governance, operating models, analytics advisory and IT strategy
  • Define the strategic value of AI and analytics solutions and communicate this value to different stakeholders from business, IT as well as C-level management
  • Be mainly responsible for the analytics academy curriculum and lead upskilling initiatives: design and promote analytics academic programs to grow our business through data literacy and enabled teams
  • Steer and develop conferences, hackathons and other initiatives to spread analytics and data culture within Henkel as well as in the industry
  • Establish a communication program that delivers regular updates on the innovation and products that are carried out by the team through newsletters, blog etc
  • Promote our Data & Analytics activities across the company and develop new channels of communication
  • Establish yourself as an Analytics Ambassador across business units and functions
  • Advance the cross-functional teams of product owners, data experts and business users with your expertise and support the project teams. Live a culture of constant learning, integrity and mutual responsibility
  • Be passionate about emerging approaches and leveraging their full potential and be eager to learn about and explore new methods and technologies
YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in computer science or business-related studies with a strong technical focus, preferably in statistics, analytics or data science
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an advanced analytics environment e.g., BI, analytics, IT reorganization, data governance and digital business models. Experience in the chemical industry is a plus
  • Proven track record of professional success in an analytics or advisory role
  • Strategic business acumen, passion for IT strategy and technology trends
  • Capability to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and translate them into relevant data & analytics initiatives as well as concepts
  • Ability to collaborate closely with diverse teams and work in cross-functional set-ups
  • Strong experience in communicating results and approaches to different audiences and engaging with C-level stakeholders
  • Experience in working with methods to enable efficient teamwork and solutioning (e.g. Scrum/Kanban boards, Design Thinking, DevOps)
  • Fluent in English and German with high confidence in both verbal and written communication
