The Peters’ research group in the Institute of Biological Chemistry at Washington State University has multiple positions open for postdoctoral researchers. The group focuses on electron transfer and carboxylation reactions and positions are available to;

1)      Examine the role of protein conformational change in the control of enzymatic carboxylation and electron bifurcation,

2)      To study the determinants of catalytic bias in enzymes that catalyze reversible hydrogen oxidation (hydrogenases),

3)       The mechanism of light driven nitrogen reduction in biohybrid photocatalysts coupling cadmium sulfide nanocrystals with the enzyme nitrogenase.
