YOUR ROLE
- Perform numerical simulation for structural adhesive and foam applications in automotive
- Provide technical support to commercial teams and customers globally in simulation of structural adhesives and foams
- Perform material testing of structural adhesives and foams
- Develop methods for simulation and mechanical testing to characterize material properties and validation
- Present and report the results and findings
- Perform mechanical design for devices and tooling for testing rig, as well organize the manufacturing
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Numerical Simulation Science, Material Science, Physics or similar
- Initial working experiences (fresh graduates are also welcome) in car body structure, FE simulation, structure mechanics and material testing
- Good knowledge in using common FEA tools, e.g. Hyperworks, LS-Dyna, Abaqus, Ansys, Digimat, Nastran etc.
- Good knowledge in using common CAD tools for mechanical design, e.g., Inventor, Solidworks etc.
- Strong analytical thinking, team work, self-initiative and independent work
- Fluent English language skills, German is advantageous
