The Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (https://case.edu/ cancer/), an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center at CWRU, with affiliates University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic, invites applications for tenure track/tenured faculty at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Applicants are being sought that have a PhD and basic/translational cancer research expertise. Applicants for Assistant Professor must have a track record of outstanding cancer research and publications and potential for extramural funding. Candidates applying for consideration at a senior rank must possess national (Associate Professor) or international (Professor) reputations in collaborative cancer research, a distinguished record of publication and funding, a commitment to mentoring, teaching, and leadership, and they must fulfill other qualifications necessary for a tenured appointment at CWRU.

Successful candidates will be expected to interact closely with members of established basic and translational cancer center research programs. Primary appointment will be in the CWRU School of Medicine department of expertise or in the Cancer Center.

Applicants are also asked to submit a statement explaining how their research, teaching, and/or service have contributed to diversity, equity and inclusion within their scholarly field(s) and/or how their individual and/or collaborative efforts have promoted structural justice inside and outside institutions of higher learning. This statement should also reflect on the ways in which the candidate’s continued efforts will foster a culture of diversity, pluralism, and individual difference at Case Western Reserve University into the future.

Please send curriculum vitae and a cover letter outlining your research interests, and your efforts in diversity, equity and inclusion to: Ruth Keri, PhD Chair, Case Comprehensive Cancer Center faculty search committee, c/o cancersearch@case.edu.
