Biologist/Physical Scientist/Chemist

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT), located within the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), is hiring staff scientists.  OPPT is responsible for implementation of activities mandated by the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Pollution Prevention Act (PPA), and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).  You will work on a variety of projects that support EPA’s mission of protecting human health and the environment. 

 These positions are in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, New Chemicals, Data Gathering and Analysis, and Existing Chemicals Risk Assessment Divisions. The location will be determined after a selection has been made for the position; if selected, you must work at one of the locations stated in this announcement. Positions are located in Washington, DC.
