The Gilead Business Services center in Raleigh's Research Triangle region will be home to some of the company's critical shared service teams in North America, including Information Technology, Global Financial Solutions, HR Operations and Procurement Services Desk. The ERP Testing Lead will be responsible for the following Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:ERP Testing
- Manage and deliver wholesale testing services for SAP and other ERP Ecosystem commercial and custom applications to deploy business critical solutions, reducing testing timelines, costs and increasing overall quality
- Own the SAP implementation testing and defect management process, establishing the testing strategy and governance structure, working collaboratively to create and manage project testing plans as well as managing the test cycle execution for each release rollout
- Work cross-functionally and globally in a fast-paced, GxP and FDA regulated IT system environment
- Interact with corporate quality and compliance teams to ensure all system testing follows internal SOPs and compliance with GxP/FDA regulations
- Build automated continuous integration executions of SAP critical scenarios as part of DevOps framework to capture defects before they are migrated to Production environment
- Continually scan the environment in a proactive manner to gain perspective on industry trends, Industry best in class KPI's, leading practices and technology offerings to be equipped to bring to the attention of business engagement and business stakeholders.
- Have a strategic mindset with the capability of establishing a comprehensive yet pragmatic vision based on a strong base of analysis
- Strong understanding of Business KPI's and Insight required to manage the Testing process domain.
- Strong communication skills to effectively articulate Testing vision coupled with influencing and leadership skills in order to lead people to achieve it
- Be the Platform owner for Testing technologies that fall under the ERP banner
- Build and Maintain testing architecture documentation
- Develop deep and broad business capability and domain knowledge to enable effective business analysis and requirements planning and enhance IT's business acumen
- Review business requirements to ensure sufficient detail and clarity, collaborating with business partners to ensure that these are captured correctly with clear and complete understanding of data, process, people and technology implications.
- Ensure effective consultation with the various business partners (internal & external) in exploring and applying innovative outside-in solution ideas to address business opportunities and challenges
- Build and maintain effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders that include Business Function Leaders, Global Business Process Owners, Business Engagement BA's, Business Engagement Domain Architects, ERP Solution Architects, Validation and Corporate Quality and IT build and run resources (internal and external)
- Develop and maintain effective, trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders - including senior leaders - in order to provide credible insight and advice about leveraging testing and a testing framework for business effectiveness
- Work with business partners to understand processes and requirements, develop options and recommendations through close collaboration with architects.
- Interact effectively with delivery teams to ensure testing approaches both manual and automated are fit for purpose and support successful deployments.
High School Degree and Eleven Year's Experience OR Associates Degree and Nine Years Experience OR Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years' Experience OR Masters' Degree and Five Years' ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:
- Hands on work experience in ERP Testing Lead role within the Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with key tools including HP ALM, Solution Manager and CHarma
- Experience related to Tier 1 ERP's preferably SAP
- Experience working with a range of geographic regions to support business needs
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and evaluate solutions
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to business partners in a meaningful way
- Ability to oversee projects, manage resources and influence outcomes beyond line management structures
- Strong analytical, communication, time-management, facilitation, presentation, influencing and project/portfolio management skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive cost/benefit, fit-gap and pro/con analysis
- Demonstrated experience in building effective trusted advisor relationships with business partners and IT colleagues using negotiation, mediation and influencing skills
- Demonstrated discipline, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Independent, self-motivated, self-managing, proactive and responsive with a bias for action and results
- High level of personal integrity consistent with Gilead's core values
- Resilient with the ability to perform in an ambiguous environment and under pressure
- Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives
