Postdoctoral Positions in Gastroenterology and Immunology
Postdoctoral training positions are available in the laboratory of Hans-Christian Reinecker MD, in the Department of Internal Medicine, the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The focus of the research program is on mechanism of inflammatory bowel diseases, anti-microbial host defenses and intestinal tumorigenesis. Projects unravel new pathways of innate immune recognition for viral and bacterial pathogens and control of mucosal immunity.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in Immunology, Oncology or Microbiology in addition to a solid foundation in molecular and cell biology is required. Prior experiences in protein mutagenesis, gene targeting approaches or biochemistry is preferred. Prior work leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
