A postdoctoral researcher position is available at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute / Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. The appointee will study signaling mechanisms disrupted in neurodevelopmental disorders, using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), directly reprogrammed neurons and brain organoids models of human disease. Candidates with strong background in stem cell biology and neurodevelopment are encouraged to apply. Experience in genome editing technologies is required. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and will be able to integrate a variety of assays, including MEAs, proteomics, single cell assays, and computational biology.
