YOUR ROLE
  • Proven machinery surveillance and condition monitoring including vibration, ultrasonic, Inferred and Oil analysis preferred.
  • The ability to setup lubrication and vibration routes
  • Needs to understand instrumentation and their capabilities
  • Machinery performance evaluations - pumps, compressors, gears, agitators and cooling towers.
  • Knowledgeable in PLC and DCS including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Proven machinery troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Ability to apply Root Cause Analysis tools to machinery and process reliability
  • Managing repair projects for machinery and components.
  • Demonstrated understanding of national and local codes, and standards. (i.e. API, ASME, ISO, MOC, GMP, ANSI, OSHA standards in relation to all areas of machinery inspection and repair). Hands on experience in the troubleshooting and repair of centrifugal & reciprocating compressors, agitators, motors, boilers, vacuum pumps, gears, mechanical seals & automated valves, pumps.
    • Knowledge of establishing lubrication and vibration routes
    • Work different shifts to collect data and perform studies.
  • Other duties as assigned
YOUR SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Reliability Engineering.
  • Prefer experience with machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment and/or project experience.
  • Process Safety Management experience helpful
  • Desired to have experience in plant utilities with direct experience analyzing steam, air, and water systems.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Solid written skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes)
  • 5S, Lean or 6 Sigma trained, preferred Team Building and motivational skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Sit, stand, and walk alternately throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and up to 25 lbs. on an occasional basis during a shift
  • Climb and descend stairs routinely
  • Work in non-climate controlled work areas
