YOUR ROLE
  • Design and develop new equipment and innovative dispensing technology for Henkel adhesives and sealants
  • Customer specific equipment design, development, manufacture and delivery
  • Project management of equipment developments within technical requirements, timescales and budgets
  • Support and troubleshooting of equipment remotely and at customer location
  • Create documentation packages to support new equipment developments and develop a close working relationship with the supplier base
YOUR SKILLS
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in mechanical, electromechanical or pneumatic system design
  • Practical ability to modify and manufacture prototype components and assemblies
  • Knowledge of electromechanical devices and Industry 4.0
  • Management and relationship building skills with equipment suppliers as well as customer facing experience
  • Flexibility to respond and support troubleshooting of existing equipment
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project) and proficient in use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent skills in design tools (Solid Works, Autocad, DFMEA) as well as basic knowledge of PLC system programming
  • Fluent English skills, German would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel (around 15% mostly within Europe)
