This post-doctoral associate position is in the Cormier/Scott lab at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth Campus. Our group studies the tumor suppressor gene CFTR. Loss of CFTR causes increased risk of colorectal cancer in individuals with cystic fibrosis. The post-doctoral associate will contribute to our research through organoid culture, gene expression analysis and mouse model studies. We are looking for a motivated, independent, productive individual to work on this project. We are especially interested in an individual open to a career in cystic fibrosis research. Funding for this position is initially two years, renewable annually, with additional years possible.
