Required Qualifications

1.Doctoral degree in an area of biomedical sciences
2.Research experience in some or all areas: cell culture, organoid culture, rodent studies, bioinformatics, protein and nucleic acid analysis
3.Previous research productivity as shown by publications

7.Interest in a career in cystic fibrosis research

This post-doctoral associate position is in the Cormier/Scott lab at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth Campus. Our group studies the tumor suppressor gene CFTR. Loss of CFTR causes increased risk of colorectal cancer in individuals with cystic fibrosis. The post-doctoral associate will contribute to our research through organoid culture, gene expression analysis and mouse model studies. We are looking for a motivated, independent, productive individual to work on this project. We are especially interested in an individual open to a career in cystic fibrosis research. Funding for this position is initially two years, renewable annually, with additional years possible.
