A Postdoctoral or Research Associate position is immediately available at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine to work on the identification and characterization of modulators of metabolic and epigenetic regulators to inhibit pancreatic cancer cell metastasis using high-throughput screening of small molecule libraries. Discoveries may have general implications for reducing cancer stochasticity, tumor cell heterogeneity, and mortality, based on widespread chromatin reprogramming (Nature Genetics, DOI: 10.1038/ng.3753). Candidates must have a PhD degree with training in chemical biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or molecular and cell biology. Prior experience in establishing cell-based screening assays and conducting high-throughput screens are a plus. Due to COVID-caused travel restrictions, only candidates who are currently residing within the continental US will be considered. Interested candidates can send their CV along with contact information of 2-3 references to: Dr. Andrew Feinberg and Dr. Jun Liu at drsfeinbergliu@gmail.com.
