We welcome applications for full time tenure-track faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in data science.  Applicants should have a PhD, DDS/PhD, MD/PhD, or similar terminal degrees and have established or demonstrate promise for independent research that broadly fits within the area of Data Science.

Primary departmental affiliation(s) will be determined by the applicant’s qualifications relevant to the applicant’s research program and departmental initiatives and themes. We welcome applications from outstanding scientists in the area of dental, medical, biomedical informatics, bioinformatics, and computational biology with emphasis on machine learning and artificial intelligence. The University of Michigan School of Dentistry offers an outstanding work environment and enjoys a strong tradition of collaborative multidisciplinary research. Many faculty in the School of Dentistry hold joint appointments with other units at the university.
