YOUR ROLE
  • Execute new product development projects
  • Develop new approaches, solutions, processes, products within an agreed timeframe
  • Execute and manage projects and resources to meet planned objectives
  • Ensure compliance with Henkel corporate SHE standards, policies and procedures and manage the lab and innovation process
  • Provide technical support services to Manufacturing and Quality as required
  • Execute process developments to support cross-functional teams to achieve completion of new technology products consistent with strategic objectives
  • Assure all new products meet international chemical health and safety requirements and other regulations
  • Ensure that Henkel's new IP is protected through collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements
  • Approve technical readiness of raw materials and products as well as first production and quality specs
  • Test or supervise tests on product stability and performance
  • Connect with consumers and generate consumer insights through various platforms
YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Sciences, Materials Science or in any other related scientific area preferred, but not required
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience, experience in lab work is a must
  • People management experience
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under pressure
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under pressure and project management skills
  • Interest to regularly work in a chemical laboratory environment
  • Creative thinking
  • Fluent English and German language skills
