A postdoctoral research position on circadian clocks is open in the lab of Professor Andy LiWang at the University of California, Merced (http://faculty.ucmerced.edu/aliwang). The project will study circadian clock proteins with the goal of elucidating mechanism. The postdoc will be responsible for the design, execution, and analysis of experiments on oscillating clock reactions using biochemical and biophysical techniques. The successful candidate will conduct independent research in a supportive, collegiate, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. Postdoc salaries are set by the University of California System and currently range from $54,540/yr for no prior postdoc experience to $63,036/yr for four years of prior postdoc experience.
