The Center for Integrative Brain Research (CIBR) in the Seattle Children’s Research Institute (SCRI) and Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine seeks outstanding scientists to be appointed full-time, for appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. Applicants are invited in any area of basic or translational neuroscience, broadly defined. Applicants engaged in trans-disciplinary research are encouraged. SCRI is committed to building diversity among its faculty. The successful applicant will enjoy a competitive start-up package, and excellent space and state-of-the-art facilities in the Research Institute, which is near the University of Washington, the Allen Institute, the Institute for Systems Biology, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The selected candidate will be appointed as faculty at the University of Washington, and will be part of a growing Center with diverse interests and expertise .

Applicants should possess PhD and/or MD (or foreign equivalent) degrees. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
