A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in Dr. Wenqi Wang’s laboratory at Department of Developmental and Cell Biology, University of California Irvine, to study the Hippo signaling pathway in organ size control and cancer development. 

We are taking advantage of multi-disciplinary approaches including molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, mouse genetics, proteomics to investigate the roles of the Hippo pathway in normal physiology and cancer. Through it, we hope to develop therapeutic approaches by harnessing the Hippo pathway for cancer treatment. We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and career-oriented candidate with excellent research training in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or cancer biology. We prefer candidates who are about to graduate with PhD or MD/PhD degree, or have graduated within the last 12 months. A track record of excellent first author publication(s) is required. The salary and benefit will follow the NIH standard.
