The Earle A. Chiles Research Institute (EACRI) at Providence Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon is looking for highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Cancer Immunoprevention Laboratory led by Dr. Sasha Stanton, a breast oncologist and translational researcher. The major goal of this lab is translational research to understand the immune environment of pre-invasive lesions, specifically ductal carcinoma in situ and oral dysplasia, and develop immune-based therapies to treat these lesions and prevent multi-antigen vaccines to both treat these lesions and prevent invasive cancers. The fellowship will be focused on studying the immune environment of oral dysplasia and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, identifying tumor-associated antigen targets, and designing pre-clinical models of a multi-antigen vaccine for oral dysplasia with the goal of submitting an IND to start early phase clinical trials.
