SDUST is recruiting full-time professionals who can be employed at any time. Full-time applicants are required to meet the following two requirements: 1. Undergraduate teaching; 2. Independent scientific research. Besides, we also accept postdoctoral applicants and research fellows who can be primarily engaged in scientific research.

一、A Profile of SDUST

SDUST is located in Qingdao, where the sailing events of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games were held, with branch campuses in Jinan and Tai’an of Shandong Province. The university, founded in 1951, is a prestigious higher learning institution of Shandong Province of China. It offers a multi-disciplinary education in engineering, science, management, literature, law, economics, art and other subjects with unique features in Engineering. The campus of SDUST, covering an area of over 3800 Mu (about 254 hectares), is known as the most beautiful campus to the north of the Yangtze River. Currently, the university has 3260 faculty and staff, of whom 2201 are full-time teachers, with 1244 of them holding a doctoral degree, 360 being professors and 705 associate professors. It enrolls more than 45,000 students, including 36,127 full-time undergraduate students and 9,049 graduate students.

SDUST is stepping up its internationalization, and is committed to building up a high-level applied research university with distinctive features and leading engineering disciplines. It endeavors to recruit more talents with overseas education experience for an internationalized team of faculty.

二、Requirements

Applicants are required of a Ph. D degree from prestigious research institutions and/or universities with high caliber publications in peer-reviewed journals, with team spirit and proficiency in English or Chinese.

三、Disciplines

Recruitment mainly includes but is not limited to the following disciplines:

1.Energy Science

Mining engineering, safety science and engineering, surveying and mapping science and technology, geological resources and geological engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering and technology, geology, mechanics, geography, environmental science and engineering, etc.

2.Artificial Intelligence

Control science and engineering, computer science and technology, systems science, electrical engineering, electronic science and technology, information and communication engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, etc.

3.Advanced Manufacturing

Mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics, transportation engineering, shipbuilding and oceanography engineering, etc.  

4.Modern Management

Management science and engineering, law, applied economics, foreign languages and literature, business administration, art, etc.

四、Remuneration and Benefits
