The primary purpose of the Senior Research Assistant position is to apply technical expertise and experience to plan, coordinate, design, supervise and carry out research projects in synthetic chemistry and drug design. Impacts cancer research efforts throughout the institution.

1. To identify the novel targets that have a synergistic effect on tumors treated with P13K inhibitors of gliomas where P13K has been


2. To combine simultaneous analysis of high-throughput oncogenomic data, translational protein changes by reverse phase protein

microarrays (RPPA) and functional RNAi screening to identify compensatory pathway activation and resistance to P13K inhibitors to identify

the co-targets.

3. To validate the co-targets, preclinical evaluation will be achieved with the use of disease-relevant models, supported by (molecular)

imaging and pharmacodynamic analysis of tumor tissue.

Required: Bachelor's degree in one of the natural sciences or related field.

Preferred: Master's degree in one of the natural sciences or related field.

Required: Three years of experience in scientific or experimental research work. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.
