Assist in cloning and synthesis of novel plasmids for multiplex gene perturbation studies. Provide technical and coordination skills in carrying out various cell and molecular biology research projects in Dr. Hart's Lab.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Cloning Development of custom vectors and pooled libraries for genetic perturbation studies.

Cell and molecular biology Basic cell and molecular biology experiments in pursuit of lab scientific goals.

Assay reproducibility Develop and disseminate protocols for custom cloning applications.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.

Preferred: Master's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work. No experience required with preferred degree.
