Highly motivated postdoctoral scientists are invited to lead several new projects to address fundamental questions on protein homeostasis (Lu et al., PLoS Biology 2021; Lu et al. Nature Neuroscience 2019), RNA homeostasis (Zhang et al. Molecular Cell 2018; Haeusler et al. Nature 2014), and metabolism (Wang et al., Cell Metabolism 2021) related to neurodegenerative diseases in the laboratory of Jiou Wang. The position is open to candidates with a wide range of backgrounds including biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and structural biology on all topics of biology. Those with experience in nucleic acid biology, protein biochemistry, and bioinformatics are particularly encouraged to apply.

Our lab is affiliated with the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Department of Neuroscience at the School of Medicine.
