Postdoctoral Scholar in Innate Immune Signaling

A postdoctoral fellow position is immediately available in the lab of Dr. Edward Harhaj at Penn State College of Medicine. The project will focus on the negative regulation of innate immune signaling pathways by ubiquitination and autophagy pathways. The successful applicant will have a recent Ph.D. with research experience in innate immunity, autophagy, signal transduction and/or virology. Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently and experience working with knockout mice and viral infection models is preferred. Representative publications from the lab can be found in: Science (2010), Nature Immunology (2008, 2011), EMBO J. (2007, 2009), PLoS Pathogens (2014, 2020), J. Biol. Chem. (2011, 2015), J. Virol. (2007, 2011, 2013) and Mol. Cell. Biol. (2017).
