As the Manager, Feasibility and Recruitment Planning you will work with project and study leadership to directly support robust feasibility and recruitment planning by leveraging data both internal and external to GSK.   

In this critical role you will be responsible for the delivery of the pipeline by providing to the Rx/Vx Global Study Delivery robust feasibility scenarios to drive Country allocation decisions to enable accelerated recruitment and reduce FSFV to LSFV. The team will also support on-time delivery of FCI and LCI within expected timelines.  

Key Responsibilities The key deliverables to be achieved by the post holder and the ongoing responsibilities of the role:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with Regions and LOCs, Rx and Vx Study Delivery and the Protocol Design Lab organizations.
  • Deliver on the vision for feasibility and recruitment planning scenarios that include associated timelines and budgets that are very analytics and benchmark driven, highly automated and leverages predictive and AI tools.
  • Work with Rx Global Clinical Program Delivery Team, the Vx Global Clinical Program Delivery Team, and Global Monitoring and Site Engagement Team to agree Feasibility and to create a recruitment plan based on patient populations, LOC data, competitor data, site data and resource availability.
  • Leverage new Feasibility and Recruitment Planning processes and IT tools within the team to improve feasibly, recruitment and the speed at which GSK can activate an investigational site.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Feasibility and Recruitment Planning processes and cycle times by using lead and lag metrics and benchmarking performance against industry upper quartile cycle times.
  • Leverage the most up to date and easy to interpret study feasibility data to rate study complexity, ensure realistic study plans and patient recruitment forecasts are considered prior to study start.
  • Prepare and present scenarios to the Trial Allocation Board in partnership with asset and study delivery leads


Other Skills

  • Experience analysing data to optimize clinical trial delivery and to create various scenarios to support the operational design of a trial.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 14 years experience in Lieu of degree supporting Feasibility and Recruitment Planning activities with drug trials
  • 14 years experience in clinical operations, preferably across multiple TAs and phases of development  in Rx and Vx.  


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master's degree in a science related field
  • Advanced knowledge of the drug development processes and key operational interfaces
  • Ability to plan, manage and lead cross-functional projects
  • Excellent communication skills and able to explain complex situations
