Job Details

The mission of The University of Texas M. D. Provides clinical and coordination skills in carrying out various clinical research projects

** This position will be at our Woodlands location**

Research Projects:

Assists PI with scientific research projects focused on GI Cancers and/or Endoscopy

Reads literature and confers with PI regarding new research methods and modifies them according to the needs of the project

Functions, under supervision in the design and initiation of research projects

Assists in training and research work activity for assigned project and research personnel

Submits projects results to PI

Compliance/Regulatory Coordination:

Maintain all regulatory documents for all research projects

Respond to compliance-related queries as needed.

Publications

Utilizes technical writing ability to assist in the composition of abstracts, manuscripts, research projects, reports and other medical/scientific correspondence under the direction of study investigator.

Editing and/or writing sections of protocols, grants and reports as directed by study investigators.

Reviewing manuscripts before submission to publishing companies.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.

Preferred: Master's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work. No experience required with preferred degree.
