A postdoctoral position is available within the Optical Microscopy Core of the Laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression (NCI/NIH) to conduct research in the regulation of transcription in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The candidate is expected to have a background in yeast genetics and molecular biology and to be interested in cutting-edge fluorescence microscopy, single molecule tracking and biophysical quantification of dynamics of transcription factors.
