Description
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) invites applications for post-doctoral positions. The openings are in the new state-of-the-art Innovative Technologies Laboratory (ITL), to be kicked off in July 2021, and spanning the two following main broad technical areas:

1. Circuits and Systems (modeling and experimental), including electronic design automation, circuit design, embedded systems design, FPGAs, Internet-of-Things, and complex systems design.
2. Photonics (modeling and experimental), including nanophotonics, THz, infrared, metamaterials, plasmonics, biophotonics, nanoparticles, and optical nanocircuits.

We are looking for postdocs who have completed their Ph.D., or will complete their Ph.D soon, and wish to embrace the unique opportunity of participating in the shaping of such a challenging and innovative research theme, as well as contributing to the ambitious research agenda of the Innovative Technologies Laboratory, supported by a substantial funding landscape.

Qualifications
We welcome candidates with a PhD in a related field. We consider as an added advantage proven track record in research project definition and management, team leading, research collaboration with industrial partners, experience in supporting PhD candidates in their research.

  • An abstract of your PhD thesis.
  • Transcripts and results of all courses taken during the Master/PhD programs. Copies allowed.
