SUMMARY
Function
Assists in the analysis and development of algorithms and software for clinical and scientific problems.
Scope
Impacts clinical and scientific research projects.
Essential Job Functions
Assists in the analysis and development of formalisms, algorithms and software. With direction, develops and maintains software tools and infrastructure for resolving specific problems. Contributes to the development of procedures and makes recommendations on new procedures.
Marginal Job Functions
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related field. Education Preferred: Master's degree in a related field. Three years experience in scientific software development/analysis. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.
