The Director, Vaccines Health Outcomes Engagement & Value Communications will lead the planning and execution of vaccines health outcomes data dissemination for the US. The leader in this role will optimize communication of health outcomes data to key customer groups and serve as the liaison to our field medical partners to ensure the evidence generated is fit for purpose and communicates a compelling value message for our vaccine portfolio. This leader will proactively monitor the external environment and liaise with internal analytic partners to uncover insights that inform strategic evidence generation plans aligned to the global and US objectives.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Lead planning and execution of health outcomes data dissemination in the US market for multiple brands/indications, ensuring that medical/scientific communications are strategically aligned with matrix partners as outlined in annual medical plans
  • Lead creation of resources that incorporate health outcomes data into a compelling narrative, customizing the information for various customer types; collaborate with training partners to create internal training resources
  • Partner with field medical and internal analytic partners in order to identify unmet needs, evidence gaps, and customer questions to be incorporated into health outcomes evidence and data dissemination planning
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and the healthcare environment to identify trends and issues in vaccines market to be addressed through evidence generation and dissemination plans
  • Create/maintain policy evidence portfolios in partnership with policy colleagues


Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • MS Degree
  • 5 plus years scientific or health policy experience (communicating and translating population-based research) in a pharmaceutical, managed care, or health system setting
  • Experience in health outcomes-related study/project designs & analytic approaches


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MPH, Pharm D, PhD or MD
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for medical engagement and develop strategic customer engagement plans for US public health decisionmakers, integrated delivery networks, or payers
  • Direct customer experience with US public health decisionmakers, integrated delivery networks, or payers
  • Proven ability to leverage technology and multiple communication channels for customer engagement
