Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Center for Translational Vision Research
The Center for Translational Vision Research in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, Irvine Faculty: Palczewski K., Kern T., Kiser P., Skowronska-Krawczyk, D., Kefalov, V., Browne A. is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar position.
Applications are being sought from independent and motivated postdoctoral candidates interested in a multi-disciplinary approach to study G protein-coupled receptor signaling, visual signal transduction and retinoid metabolism and/or molecular mechanism of aging in age-related eye diseases. Applicants must possess a recent Ph.D., M.D, or M.D./Ph.D. degree in the field of Ophthalmology, Biochemistry,Molecular Biology or equivalent to apply. Experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, mass spectrometry or chemistry required.
