The Department of Oral Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2021.
We seek candidates working on important problems in oral microbiology/immunology, such as oral microbial community development, virulence mechanisms of periodontal pathogens, or immune responses to oral organisms. The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong program of extramurally funded research that complements the diversity of the Department's existing research activity.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree and have completed at least 3 years’ postdoctoral training with at least 8 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
