The candidate will be expected to share and present research results in program meetings and to author appropriate documents (reports, standard operation procedures, regulatory documents and publications).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work independently in a team to propose, plan and execute experiments, trouble-shoot, analyze, document results, and to ensure high data quality.

- Establish and/or optimize assays, and carry out experiments to test antiviral activity, mechanism of action, as well as virus drug resistance and virus fitness characterization.

- Work in BSL2 and BSL3 labs on antiviral assays required

- Work as a team member in proposing working hypothesis, identify and validate novel drug targets, develop and validate a variety of cell-based and functional assays, and be actively involved in data interpretation.

- Present results in internal meetings, scientific conferences, and author study reports and publications.
