Assistant or Associate Professor in Genomics and Bioinformatics
The Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy invites applications for a tenure-leading position in Genomics and Bioinformatics at the rank of ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR. Qualifications include a Ph.D. or M.D. degree with relevant experience in genomics, bioinformatics or computational biology, and a minimum of 2 years of post-doctoral experience in a relevant field. Competent applications in all areas of genomics and bioinformatics are given due consideration; however, preference will be given to outstanding candidates who can utilize computational and genomics-driven approaches in cancer research. The ideal candidate will have research interests and experience that will complement ongoing research in genomics, bioinformatics and cancer biology areas in the Department (see https://www.unmc.edu/genetics/research/index.html).
