The GSK Consumer Healthcare R&D team supports the development of leading global brands in Consumer Health care. The Scientist role will support operations and planning requirement for broader AMPS team, t racking resource forecasts and providing reliable data to leadership in order to successfully manage resources and priorities. The role will take direction from AMPS* Operation and Strategy Lead . * Analytical, Microbiology, Product Chemistry and Stability

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Work collaboratively with AMPS (* Analytical, Microbiology, Product Chemistry and Stability) team leaders and stakeholders to ensure accurate data are provided
  • Gather and enter data in resource planning tool
  • Entry and manipulation of data in spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • Generation of simplified and meaningful data display (graphs, charts, summaries)
  • Prepare materials for stakeholder communications (tables, graphs, slides)
  • Assist in translating technical resources needs into an easily digestible format

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business Management, Strategy or Finance (BS with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or MS Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience)
  • Experience presenting and discussing data in a simplified and meaningful way

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Master's Degree in Science, Business Management, Strategy or Finance
  • Experience in Consumer Healthcare preferred.
  • Excellent planning capabilities, a bias for action, and the capability to deliver among ambiguity
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Understanding of operation and planning issues, priority setting and project management
  • Ability to effectively work across boundaries and geographies
