The Division of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (https://hematology.im.wustl.edu/) is seeking applications from outstanding Ph.D. and/or M.D. for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of thrombosis and hemostasis. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, platelet signaling and blood coagulation. The appointee will complement, expand, and strengthen the current research program in the Division of Hematology and Washington University academic community. The faculty members at the Division are actively engaged in diverse research areas, including thrombosis, inflammation, stem cell biology, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and lysosomal storage diseases. The Department of Medicine at Washington University is a center of scientific discovery and innovation, with outstanding investigators and graduate/medical students and exceptional opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration. The faculty member will be expected to develop and maintain a multi-disciplinary, rigorous, and extramurally funded research program and to participate in teaching graduate/medical students. A joint appointment between the Department of Pathology and Immunology, Department of Cell Biology and Physiology, or others, depending on the research focus, is possible.
