Post Doctoral Scholar

MUSC has committed to the development of a Center for Immunobiologic Therapeutics that will serve as the infrastructure for translational research. The Center encompasses basic science laboratories and a FACT Accredited GMP facility in the Center for Cellular Therapy as well as a clinical trials/bio analytics core. These entities work in concert to transition ideas from the bench to the bedside through an FDA approved clean cell facility making the center a state-of-the art pipeline to carry out clinical trials with therapeutics that have been developed and characterized in the laboratories of MUSC faculty. Central to this mission is small animal in vivo work that will encompass both basic and translational research. As part of this initiative, MUSC is seeking to recruit scientists to work with MUSC faculty who will coordinate with the Center for Immunobiologic Therapeutics. Successful candidates will have microsurgical skills and an interest in immunology. An initial emphasis will be transplant immunology.
