Position Summary
Manages and/or assists the PI and project Coordinator with multiple elements of program design, scale-up, administration and management for the City of Hope Intensive Course and clinical Cancer Genomics Community of Practice (CCGCoP). Responsible for coordinating with program leadership and designers to update and provide technical support related to the online community platform, distance learning management and data collection systems that support the program. Responsible for coordinating with program leadership and designers to update content and provide technical support for the online cancer genetics learning platform. Additional responsibilities include learning outcomes and evaluation assessment instrument delivery, data collection and management. Can function independently and proficiently, and exercises independent judgement, as defined in the position accountabilities.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Conducts protocol management for an assigned set of multiple education and training research protocols.
  • Assists with participant enrollment and registration.
  • Supports faculty and participant engagement in education and training protocols through distance-mediated communication, technical troubleshooting and support
  • Assists clinical and guest faculty with preparation and delivery of course materials, webinars, recordings and workshops
  • Performs data management and data analyses, as required by the research study.
  • Assists with developing and disseminating program marketing, promotion and social media communications
  • Identifies and communicates important protocol and data management issues or problem areas to supervisor.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to maintain certification/licensure, and/or keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
  • Ensures work environment is organized and functions efficiently.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.

Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Must have an Associate's Degree. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
Preferred education experience and skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Read, identify and extract pertinent data from medical record
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology
  • Medical Terminology
  • Medical Record, Health Information Systems, or related health field
  • Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills. Excellent reading comprehension.
