ROLE SUMMARY

The Investigator Site Development Lead's mandate is to discover and grow adjacent opportunities by setting objectives, and leading and coordinating the expansion of the clinical research infrastructure in the USA, ensuring new, strategically aligned sites utilized by Pfizer are
  • Operating in conformance with ICH/GCP and local regulatory requirements.
  • Able to partner with Pfizer's structures supporting Quality by Design and Incorporating abilities of Innovation, Efficiency, Speed of Science, Diversity, Decentralization, and Digitization.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the design and execution of a USA strategy to build growth and sustained capacityat the Investigator Site Level.
  • Is accountable as the USA Site Operations Team Primary Point of Contact, to partner with, lead, and deliver on, all initiatives and strategies building Investigator Site Development and Opportunities.
  • Is accountable to develop business case proposals to ensure strategies meet Pfizer portfolio demands and monitor delivery of speed and cost efficiencies gained from leveraging the strategy.
  • Is accountable for the design, lead, and delivery of the USA Investigator Training Program (iTP) strategy.
  • Closely collaborates across GSSO functional lines, specifically partnering with TINSIL, DCSOs, Site Care Partners, the Global Clinical Trial Diversity Team, Site Intelligence Leads, as needed to identify, qualify, select, and build support strategies to ensure new investigator site success with the conduct of clinical trials.
  • Use local intelligence to identify potential networks / sites and inform the strategy accordingly.
  • Embed and evolve USA page of the Country Clinical Trial Intelligence (CCTI) tool into future business use.
  • Partners closely with the TINSIL ondefining, building and maintaining of the targeted Investigator and INSPIRE site networks.
  • Accountable for creating and maintaining a culture of excellence in customer service with Relationship Leads servicing investigator sites with a focus on transforming the way we engage with new and naive investigators and study coordinators.
  • Maintains awareness of Pharma business trends and external organizational developments to help define the future strategic direction for functional area of expertise.
  • Display leadership of external environment shaping activities including industry level initiatives (e.g., TRANSCELERATE lead in country, Pharma association leadership, etc.).
  • Champions innovation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Home Health Vendors and Decentralized Clinical Trial Opportunities engaging at the Investigator Site Level.
