What You Will Achieve

Bioassay and Impurity Testing (BIT) Group: We are seeking a candidate to join us in building capabilities and capacity to lead the industry in the advancement of novel products to the market. Working within a team setting, the qualified candidate will be part of the BIT operation, outsourcing and logistics support team. The qualified candidate ideally will have previous experience with performing immunoassays, PCR and cell assay to be able to support outsourcing and troubleshooting deliverables associated with the position. Prior experience in working in a GMP environment, audit readiness, project management and interacting with CROs are also desirable. Excellent communication skill, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and work with multiple people in a team-based environment is a requirement.

How You Will Achieve It

  • The candidate will be responsible for helping with outsourcing activities within BIT and interacting with several outsourcing groups in the organization
  • The candidate will be responsible for helping with GMP activities, (training, audit readiness, compliance checkups) to keep group compliant
  • Candidate will be responsible for helping with general lab operations activities (5S, Freezer inventory/organization, equipment upkeep) to ensure laboratories run smoothly
  • The candidate is expected to document according to GMP practices
  • The candidate must be able to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams


Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology or related field.
  • Proven record of delivering results in a fast paced environment and effective communication to project teams
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet project timelines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).


Nice-to-Have

  • 2-4 years of experience performing immunoassays (e.g. ELISA)
  • Experience in GxP (GLP, GMP) environment and implementation of continuous improvement practices strongly preferred .
  • Cell based assay experience (familiar with) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in project management preferred.


Physical/Mental Requirements
  • Position requires occasional light lifting and periods of standing, sitting or walking.
