Position Summary
The T Cell Immunotherapy Program at COH is a fast-paced lab involved in cutting-edge technology, research and clinical immunotherapy studies.

Key Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Staff Scientist who will lead a translational science team for our CAR T cell clinical trials in brain tumors. This position will interact and collaborate with a team of researchers focused on developing T cell therapies in a translational research environment.

Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Ph.D degree with at least 6 years research experience in the fields of immunology immunotherapy and cancer/brain tumor biology, with experience specifically in T cell therapy and oncolytic virus.
  • The PhD candidate will ideally have considerable experience in the fields of immunology, immunotherapy and cancer/brain tumor biology.
  • Expertise in handling of high-dimensional analysis of primary tissues, including multiparameter flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and/or gene expression profiling and bioinformatics is highly preferred.
  • Immunology expertise, with demonstrated experience in cell biology and animal work.
  • Ability to effectively lead a research team to successfully meet project goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse group of scientists involved in the correlative studies.
  • Ability to design and execute laboratory experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to apply/use bioinformatics for analyses and interpretation of RNA- Seq and Single Cell RNA-Seq data is highly preferred.
  • Ability to participate in the preparation of grant applications and scientific publications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
