The Immunomodulation and Translational Research Program, recently relocated from another institution to the Department of Child Health, University of Missouri, focuses on the development of novel biologics-based immunomodulatory approaches to prevent and treat immune-based disorders with particular focus on transplantation, autoimmunity, and cancer. The program will be housed in NextGen, a newly built multi-million-dollar facility with high tech instrumentation. Candidates will involve in various aspects of ongoing cutting-edge translational research, including involvement in experimental design and execution on the bench. We are looking for self-motivated individual with strong creative and critical thinking; detail-oriented and goal-driven researcher who is an exceptional team player.
A 4-year bachelor’s degree in a science field with a minimum of 3 years of basic laboratory experience and expertise in molecular and cellular immunology, working with rodents, mammalian tissue culture, and recombinant DNA techniques. Effective oral and written and interpersonal communications skills as well as proficiency in word, excel, power point, and statistical software’s.
