Postdoctoral Fellow & Research Associate Position – The Emily Cheng Lab

The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other health care workers.
Postdoctoral fellow and research associate position are available for highly motivated individuals interested in studying the BCL-2 family, interrogating the impact of cell death on tumor-immune crosstalk and immunotherapy, and exploiting immunogenic cell death to improve immunotherapy (Science 330: 1390-1393; Molecular Cell 36: 487-499; Nature Cell Biology 8: 1348-1358; Nature Cell Biology 17: 1270-1281; Nature Communications 7: 13131; Cell Reports 21, 2926–2939). We are particularly interested in immunotherapy of lung and kidney cancers.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Ph.D. degree
- Strong background in immunology, mouse models, and cancer biology
- Good publication record
