Available immediately in the Department. of Otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.  Duties include investigating inner ear gap junctional function, mutation-induced pathology in humans, gene therapy for GJB2 induced hearing loss, and hearing functional changes in Alzheimer’s disease.  Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Hearing Sciences, or other related field.  Priority will be given to candidates with experience in gene therapy, Alzheimer’s disease, and working knowledge of the auditory system.
