UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN MEDICAL SCHOOL

The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School solicits applications from outstanding scholars for an Assistant Professor faculty position, in the tenure track, in a field directly relevant to cell biology of cancer-causing pathogenic viruses. Applicants should hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree and are expected to develop and maintain a cutting-edge, innovative research program with an exceptional record of external funding and mentorship. Successful candidates will join a collegial, interdisciplinary group of faculty, students and fellows (see https://medicine.umich.edu/dept/cell-developmental-biology) and have access to state-of-the art facilities. Applications should include a cover letter, CV, a statement describing their past and current research activities (2-page max), a statement relating future plans for research (2-page max), a statement of teaching philosophy and experience (1-page max) and a statement of evidence of commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (1-page max).
