1. About Shenzhen MSU-BIT University

Founded under the important consensus between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (SMBU) is a Sino-foreign cooperative university jointly established by the People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Beijing Institute of Technology. With an aim to build a comprehensive university of world-class standards and unique characteristics, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University is committed to bringing together elite education, frontier scientific research and technological innovation to meet the national interests. Leveraging the strength of the fundamental disciplines of Moscow State University and the applied engineering of Beijing Institute of Technology, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University incorporates the attainment of advanced, precise, and sophisticated skills and knowledge into the direction of her educational development. The university offers tertiary studies at the levels of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as non-award studies. At present, the university has set up 7 undergraduate, 3 master’s, and 2 doctoral majors, involving 4 disciplines: science, engineering, economics and liberal arts. The preliminary success of these has enabled the cultivation of talents at all levels.

2. Recruiting Position and Requirements

1) Recruiting Position:

Teaching and Research Academics, Post-Doctoral Fellows

2) Disciplines currently recruiting:

Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, Linguistics, Materials science, Arts, Medicine, Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Science and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, among other related disciplines.

3) Section Criteria:

(1) Teaching and Research Academics

a. High-level Talents: These candidates are of distinctive academic background, with formal teaching or research experience in prestigious universities (including Lomonosov Moscow State University and Beijing Institute of Technology), research institutes or enterprises at home or abroad, and being renowned for their scholarly works and having a proven academic track record in their fields of expertise; or Outstanding Talents: These candidates are doctoral graduates of prestigious universities at home or abroad, with high-quality research performances manifested by their peer-reviewed scientific works, and equipping with proficiency in research and potential to succeed in their careers. (Candidates having 2 years or more overseas work experience in research are preferable); 

b. Candidates should possess the ability to conduct teaching and research work in Russian and/or English.

(2) Post-Doctoral Fellows

a. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in their related fields of research and have graduated with the said degree no more than 3 years from its conferral date;

b. be the graduates of top universities or research institutes at home or abroad, in principle;

c. possess a proactive mind to innovate and a strong ability to research, which is to be undertaken independently;

d. meet the other requirements set forth by their immediate supervisors.
