The Bergen County Academies, a nationally renowned STEM high school, is looking for candidates for a teacher of biomedical science to mentor student researchers in there state of the art labs. Qualified candidates should possess the following:
• Experience with sterile technique as well as a working knowledge of cell and molecular biology protocols suited to a biosafety 2 lab
• Background in research and the ability to mentor students in cell and molecular biology and/or bioinformatics experiments, and/or participation in elite national and international scientific competitions (i.e. Regeneron Science Talent Search)
• Masters degree or higher in a related field (i.e. biology, biochem, biotech, etc.)
