Inclusive Excellence Postdoctoral Fellow
Santa Clara University, a highly ranked Jesuit, Catholic university, seeks a two-year Inclusive Excellence Postdoctoral Fellow starting fall 2021 in Prof. Abbyad’s lab. The successful candidate will conduct a research project (supported through NIH and NSF grants) to develop a microfluidic device for sorting single cells for cancer research, teach one quarter-long undergraduate lecture and lab (or equivalent load) in the Chemistry/Biochemistry Department each year, and mentor undergraduates in research. Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or closely allied field is required. Experience and/or interest in microfabrication, microfluidics, microscopy, mammalian cell culture, and commitment to teaching and undergraduate research are desirable.
