Postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the Neurosciences Department with Dr. Michael Harrington at Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI), Pasadena, CA for cutting-edge translational research on fluctuating brain functions in humans. The successful candidate will pursue magnetic resonance imaging and multinuclear spectroscopy research, predominantly with sodium, phosphorus and protons. This position is for two years, with ample opportunities for internal and external collaborations, and with emphasis towards pursuing career independence.

Candidates should have a background in Physics, Medical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field and have strong fundamentals in MR imaging physics, electromagnetic theory, and MR spectroscopy. Candidates, with a recent PhD degree, and a good track record of publications, will be given priority. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, laboratory experience, and institutional guidelines.
